Adbi Markaz Kamraz held its monthly Executive Body meeting in Baramulla, where representatives from thirty affiliated units gathered to advance Kashmiri language and cultural initiatives.
The organization approved plans for a three-day Kashmiri conference in Jammu, designed to strengthen literary and cultural connections among Kashmiri-speaking communities beyond the Valley. While final dates remain pending, this conference represents a significant effort to broaden the organization's reach.
In recognition of literary excellence, the Executive Body ratified the prestigious annual awards Sharaf-i-Kamraz and Khilat-i-Hanfi Sopori for 2025. Additionally, the Best Book Award will now be conferred annually on Youm-i-Aslaaf, observed on June 14, providing greater visibility to outstanding literary contributions.
The organization also plans a theatre workshop at its Kanispora headquarters following Ramadan, featuring professional training from experts outside the Valley to enhance theatrical skills and creative expression among local artists.
