Ather Energy, India's leading electric two-wheeler manufacturer, is rolling out Kannada language support on its Rizta Z family scooter dashboard starting November 1st, 2025. The update arrives on Karnataka Rajyotsava, celebrating the state's culture and language.
Recognizing that users prefer engaging with technology in their native languages, Ather has committed to offering multi-language dashboard interfaces. The Kannada rollout follows the earlier Hindi launch, with six additional languages - Marathi, Gujarati, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam - coming in the following months.
According to Swapnil Jain, CTO and Co-founder of Ather Energy, this initiative reflects the company's deep roots in Karnataka and its commitment to making technology feel familiar and easy to use. The Rizta, which has sold over 1 lakh units since launch, continues to expand its accessibility through linguistic inclusivity, supporting riders across India's diverse linguistic landscape.
