Punjabi Helpline Delhi recognized Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee President Harmeet Singh Kalka and General Secretary Jagdeep Singh Kahlon for their dedicated work in promoting and preserving the Punjabi language.
The DSGMC has taken significant steps aligned with the CBSE's *National Education Policy* to promote Indian languages. Most notably, the committee introduced Punjabi across all branches of Guru Harkrishan Public Schools through the R2 campaign, marking a historic decision to connect younger generations with their linguistic heritage.
Kalka praised Punjabi Helpline Delhi's initiatives for promoting Punjabi in the national capital and encouraging students to read and write the language. Kahlon emphasized that the recognition represents the collective efforts of the entire DSGMC team working to strengthen Punjabi's position in education.
Both leaders reaffirmed their commitment to ensuring future generations remain connected to their mother tongue, cultural heritage, and traditions through continued educational initiatives and language promotion programs.
