Saina Human AI Pvt. Ltd. has announced its exploration into developing Malayalam language AI models, leveraging its extensive media catalog as training data. Speaking at the *Let's Talk AI Inaugural Summit* in Kochi, CEO Bilal Navadh said the company is exploring participation in Malayalam AI model development and is in talks with companies training AI models.
The company owns intellectual property rights to more than 700 feature films and over 3,500 music tracks, which it plans to use as an authenticated Malayalam-language dataset for AI training. This announcement came alongside the launch of the *Keralam Future Skills Initiative (KFSI)*, an AI education programme aimed at building AI-related skills across multiple disciplines.
The summit, held at KINFRA Hi-Tech Park, Kalamassery, brought together around 500 participants from all 14 districts of Kerala. Saina Human AI is the AI education and technology arm of Saina Infotainments Pvt. Ltd., a media company with over four decades of operations in the Malayalam entertainment industry.
