02. Congress to Host Marathi-Hindi Language Workshop in Mumbai

Congress will organize a "We are Marathi, We are Indian" workshop on July 15 in Mira Road to ease tensions between Marathi and Hindi-speaking communities, countering what they call government-initiated language conflicts in Maharashtra.

03. Sanskrit Month Launched in Jammu with Cultural Events Planned

Shri Kailakh Jyotish Avim Vedic Sansthan Trust inaugurated 'Sanskrit Month' in Jammu, combining language promotion with environmental action through 5,000 sapling distributions. The month-long celebration (July 12-August 10) will feature Sanskrit recitations, student dialogues, and cultural events preserving India's linguistic heritage.

At the All India Konkani Parishad foundation day in Pune, speakers urged unity across regional and religious divides to strengthen the language. Several contributors to Konkani were honored, including Late Rocky Miranda who received the Lifetime Achievement Award posthumously.

05. World's First Sanskrit Mohalla Established in Jammu

Subhash Nagar Extension-1 in Jammu has been inaugurated as the world's first 'Sanskrit Mohalla' by Shri Kailakh Jyotish avim Vedic Sansthan Trust. Residents will use Sanskrit nameplates and welcome boards, creating a cultural laboratory to revitalize this ancient language in everyday life.

06. Maharashtra to Establish India's Premier Literary Museum and Host World Marathi Convention

Maharashtra is creating India's finest literary museum and organizing a World Marathi Convention in Nashik to promote the language globally. The government plans to establish Brihan Marathi Mandals in 74 countries and host youth-focused literary festivals.

07. Kerala to Reintroduce Malayalam Language Bill After Presidential Rejection

Kerala plans to revive the Malayalam Language Bill with amendments after President Murmu withheld assent. Originally passed in 2015, the bill aims to establish Malayalam as Kerala's official language. Education Minister Sivankutty confirmed timely changes will be incorporated.
