Invest UP, Uttar Pradesh's investment promotion agency, partnered with the Government of India's AI-powered multilingual platform *Bhasini* to overcome language barriers during the *UP-Japan Investment Meet 2026*. The initiative aimed to make engagement with global investors more inclusive by offering real-time translation services to foreign delegates.
At the event, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath's address in Hindi was translated and transcribed into Japanese instantly through *Shrutlekh*, a tool powered by Bhasini. Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw's English speech received similar treatment, being converted into Japanese in real time so that Japanese participants could follow the proceedings without delay.
This deployment marks a significant use case for Bhasini beyond domestic multilingual communication, extending its capabilities to facilitate cross-border diplomatic and business interactions. By enabling seamless communication between Hindi, English, and Japanese speakers, the platform demonstrated its potential to support India's growing international investment engagements while showcasing indigenous AI translation technology on a global stage.
