Canara Bank's Official Language Section successfully organized an All India Official Language Seminar in New Delhi on July 23, 2026, focusing on promoting Hindi in banking operations. The event was attended by Smt. Anshuli Arya, Secretary of the Department of Official Language, Ministry of Home Affairs, and chaired by the bank's MD & CEO Shri Brajesh Kumar Singh.
The seminar aimed to encourage the use of Hindi as the Official Language, promote original writing in Hindi, and provide a platform for employees to showcase their literary contributions. Key speakers emphasized the importance of implementing the *Official Language Policy* effectively and leveraging technology for wider Hindi adoption in official work.
During the event, the book *Banking ke Vividh Aayam* was released, and winners of the Canara Bank All India Essay Writing Competition 2025-26 were felicitated. The seminar brought together employees from various banks and financial institutions, serving as an effective platform for exchanging ideas and best practices on promoting Hindi in the banking sector.
