Dainik Jagran
Dainik Jagran, as part of its Hindi Hain Hum campaign, has introduced two prestigious literary awards to foster Hindi language literature and reading culture.
The Narendra Mohan Smriti Sahitya Samman, named after the newspaper's former editor-in-chief, offers Rs 5 lakh to authors whose works demonstrate exceptional readability, quality, and relevance in 2024.
Additionally, the Dainik Jagran Kriti Samman recognizes exceptional Hindi writing through three distinct categories. The Hindi Bestseller award honors authors whose books topped quarterly bestseller lists, while Uttam Mein Sarvottam celebrates writers whose works appeared on any quarterly list. The Navankur award supports debut authors whose books made the quarterly lists. Each of these three categories carries a prize of Rs 50,000.
Publishers, authors, and institutions can submit works by September 7 for consideration across poetry, fiction, non-fiction, and translation categories.
