The initiative centers on the concept that Tamil, described as a "divine language," contains inherent intelligence within its phonemic structure that can enhance human cognitive abilities. Dr. Pillai referenced classical Tamil texts like *Tolkappiyam*, *Nannool*, and *Tirukkural* as foundational works containing AI principles dating back over a millennium.
A key element of this launch is the new platform - www.perarivu.ai - where researchers and the public can access Tamil AI tools and information. The event featured international speakers from prestigious institutions discussing various aspects of AI development, legal implications, and educational applications.
Dr. Pillai's "Phonemic Intelligence" program has already been implemented in educational settings including Harvard research studies and Goa's public schools, suggesting practical applications of his theories connecting Tamil phonetics with enhanced brain function and consciousness.
