At a workshop titled *Bhashini Rajyam: Gujarat Chapter*, Science and Technology Minister Arjun Modhwadia emphasized that language should never impede administrative processes in Gujarat. The event, organized by Gujarat Informatics Ltd and the Union Ministry of Electronics and IT, showcased AI-powered translation solutions.
Modhwadia highlighted how *Bhashini* tools can transform English content into Gujarati, making government websites and circulars accessible to local citizens. He stressed that digital governance is only effective when services are available in languages people understand and prefer.
Amitabh Nag, CEO of Digital India's *Bhashini* division, demonstrated live English-to-Gujarati translations and noted that while these AI tools require minor adjustments, ongoing development continues to improve their accuracy.
The government reaffirmed its commitment to using artificial intelligence to enhance service delivery while ensuring digital governance remains inclusive and functional for all citizens, aligning with broader objectives under the *Digital India* initiative.
