Jharkhand's J-Guruji Offers Lessons in Five Tribal Languages

Jharkhand's digital learning platform *J-Guruji* has expanded to over 25,000 government schools across all 24 districts, offering curriculum-aligned content in multiple languages including five tribal languages—Santali, Ho, Mundari, Kurukh, and Khadia—alongside Hindi and English.

Implemented with Schoolnet as technology partner, the platform serves over 7.68 lakh active students and 1.17 lakh teachers. It hosts more than 27,600 digital resources, including 11,131 educational videos and 1.2 lakh assessment questions. The multilingual approach enables students from tribal communities to access learning in their mother tongue, aiming to improve classroom participation and comprehension.

The platform recorded 32.58 lakh hours of online learning and 1.91 lakh hours of offline learning over the past year. More than 1.12 lakh teachers completed 30 hours of Continuous Professional Development through the platform. Designed to address connectivity challenges, *J-Guruji* operates through web, mobile, and offline modes, automatically synchronizing data when internet access is restored.
