The Marathi film *Krantijyoti Vidyalaya - Marathi Madhyam* has struck a chord with audiences, collecting an impressive ₹24.03 crore in just four weeks with numerous sold-out screenings.
Building on this success, the filmmakers have launched the *Marathi School Initiative*, organizing special discounted screenings specifically for Marathi-medium schools, their students, and teachers. This initiative aims to strengthen the emotional and cultural connection to Marathi education, with several charitable organizations and alumni groups supporting affordable screenings.
Director Hemant Dhome expressed pride in how students and teachers see themselves reflected in the film, which celebrates Marathi language and culture. The star-studded cast features Sachin Khedekar as a headmaster, alongside Amey Wagh, Siddharth Chandekar, and others, including Prajakta Koli in her Marathi film debut.
The film's message about preserving Marathi-medium education has resonated widely, creating both entertainment and cultural impact across generations.
