Oakley and Meta have partnered to release the Oakley Meta Vanguard, a new category of Performance AI glasses designed specifically for athletes. These glasses combine Oakley's 50 years of sports expertise with Meta's AI technology.
The glasses feature Hindi language support, allowing users to control all functions through voice commands in Hindi. Additionally, they support UPI Lite payments, making them relevant for Indian consumers.
Notable features include integration with fitness apps like Garmin, a hands-free 12-megapixel camera, and immersive open-ear speakers that are six decibels louder than previous models. The glasses also include Indian actress Deepika Padukone's voice as an AI assistant option.
Built for durability, the Vanguard offers up to nine hours of battery life, IP67 water resistance, and Oakley's Three-Point Fit system with multiple nose pad options. The collection is now available in four color combinations at optical stores, Sunglass Hut, and LensCrafters across India.
