Jagadguru Ramanandacharya Rajasthan Sanskrit University is set to host a groundbreaking five-day workshop titled *SAN-V-LOG* from February 23, aimed at training students to create Sanskrit-language content for digital platforms like YouTube. This marks the first such initiative in Rajasthan and only the second in India.
The workshop will bring together 50 students from different states who will receive guidance from academicians, theatre artists, screenwriters, and journalists. The program seeks to demonstrate how Sanskrit can be integrated into contemporary digital content and made accessible to wider audiences.
The initiative follows Prime Minister Narendra Modi's remarks in *Mann Ki Baat* last October, where he highlighted Sanskrit's growing popularity among youth through vlogging. Vice-chancellor Prof Madan Mohan Jha emphasized that the workshop will provide both technical empowerment and new opportunities for Sanskrit promotion, aiming to inspire students toward self-reliance and innovation while bridging tradition and technology. Participants will gain theoretical and practical knowledge in vlogging techniques.
