RJD Demands Urdu, Sanskrit Teachers in Every Bihar School

An RJD leader has written to Bihar's Chief Minister raising three critical demands concerning minority and classical language education in the state. The letter calls for immediate reversal of what it describes as *wrongful transfers* of Urdu, Arabic, and Persian teachers from government schools - transfers allegedly conducted without due process, leaving classrooms without instruction.

The second demand targets a chronic salary backlog affecting teachers in aided madrasas and Sanskrit schools. These grant-receiving institutions have reportedly left teachers unpaid for extended periods, a grievance that has surfaced repeatedly in legislative debates.

Most significantly, the letter demands that every government school in Bihar be mandated to employ both an Urdu teacher and a Sanskrit teacher. This structural reform would require a statewide audit of vacancies and systematic recruitment - a substantial administrative and budgetary commitment given Bihar's thousands of government schools.

The state education department and Chief Minister's office have yet to respond publicly. The political traction of these demands will likely be tested in the upcoming assembly session.
