The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) Bhopal convened its quarterly Official Language Implementation Committee meeting for the period ending December 2025, focusing on strengthening Hindi usage in government operations.
Chairperson Rashmi Divakar led the proceedings, emphasizing that central government employees have a constitutional duty to adopt Hindi as a medium of expression. She described Hindi as "a thread that can weave India's diversity into the fabric of unity" and called for its integration into daily official tasks to enhance transparency and accessibility in the recruitment process.
Referencing the "Official Language Rules, 1976", Divakar urged officers to increase Hindi usage in official correspondence, ensuring information reaches the public in their language. The meeting addressed various implementation points and encouraged staff to contribute actively to Hindi's development and propagation.
A subsequent workshop on "Official Language Policy and Constitutional Provisions" drew enthusiastic participation from 10 officers and employees. Senior Translator Rakesh Kumar Malviya conducted the session and delivered the vote of thanks, reinforcing the commitment to promoting Hindi in governmental functions.
