The Singrauli Town Official Language Implementation Committee (TOLIC) convened on June 29, 2026, to advance the use of Hindi across government and public sector offices in the region. Chaired by Manish Kumar, Director (Personnel) of NCL, the meeting brought together representatives from 24 member offices including NTPC, Power Grid Corporation, CISF, State Bank of India, and Indian Railways.
Discussions centered on implementing the *Official Language Policy* of the Government of India, with member offices sharing innovations and best practices in promoting Hindi in official work. The committee expanded its reach by inducting four new members: Kendriya Vidyalaya Singrauli, Kendriya Vidyalaya Jayant, CMPFO Jayant, and THDC India Limited's Amelia Coal Mine.
The meeting concluded with all offices reaffirming their commitment to increased Hindi usage in official correspondence and operations. The chairman emphasized the need for more effective language-related programs and continuous promotion of Hindi in day-to-day administrative work.
