Central Coalfields Limited (CCL) has been honored with the first prize under the Annual Award Scheme (2025-26) by the Town Official Language Implementation Committee (Undertaking), Ranchi. The recognition celebrates the company's outstanding efforts in implementing the *Official Language (Hindi)* across its operations.
The award was received by Ashok Kumar, General Manager (Official Language), during a ceremony at CMPDI, Ranchi. Vichitrasen Gupta, Deputy Director (Official Language) from the Eastern Region, Ministry of Home Affairs, praised CCL's significant contributions to promoting Hindi.
CCL's success stems from comprehensive strategies including progressive use of Hindi, training programs for officers and employees, and extensive application of Hindi in both technical and administrative functions. The company has distinguished itself among Public Sector Undertakings through its effective implementation of official language policies.
This achievement reflects the leadership of Chairman-cum-Managing Director Nilendu Kumar Singh and Director (Personnel) Harsh Nath Mishra, alongside the dedication of the entire CCL workforce toward promoting the national language.
