A ten-day Sanskrit conversation camp was inaugurated at Government Senior Upadhyaya Sanskrit School, Savina Kheda, Udaipur, organized by Sanskrit Bharati. The initiative aims to teach participants simple spoken Sanskrit through interactive methods, games, dialogue techniques, and practical exercises.
Chief Instructor Gaurav explained that the camp focuses on moving Sanskrit beyond textbooks into everyday conversation. Metropolitan President Sanjay Shandilya emphasized that Sanskrit serves as *the foundation of the nation's cultural consciousness* and urged youth to incorporate Sanskrit words into daily life.
Principal Dr. Bhagwati Shankar Vyas noted that Sanskrit study fosters moral values and cultural refinement, while Dr. Yagya Ameta highlighted Sanskrit as *the backbone of India's knowledge tradition*. The program was conducted by Professor Dr. Chandrakant Sharma, with Professor Dr. Shailesh Jain delivering the vote of thanks.
The camp has generated renewed enthusiasm for Sanskrit in the region, representing a meaningful effort toward revitalizing Indian culture and values through practical language use.
