Brighter Kashmir
Faisal Ayoub Bhat, a 15-year-old from Irote Damjan in Anantnag district, is carving a unique digital path by creating content in Kashmiri language. Currently in Class 10, Faisal began with gaming videos in 2020, later exploring various content formats across multiple channels before finding his true calling.
In August 2025, he launched "Faisal Speakz," focusing specifically on Kashmiri-language content - an area he noticed was significantly underrepresented online. His motivation stems from the belief that *Kasher zabaan che saanie pehchaan* (Kashmiri language is our identity).
Faisal aims to fill the digital void of meaningful Kashmiri content while encouraging local youth to express themselves authentically. His mission extends beyond content creation to cultural preservation, hoping to inspire young Kashmiris to remain connected to their roots while embracing digital platforms.
Through his passion and commitment, Faisal exemplifies how young content creators can contribute to language preservation and cultural identity in the digital age.
