Lieutenant General Lasantha Rodrigo, Commander of the Army, attended the Certificate Awarding Ceremony at the Joint Services Language Training Institute in Kothmale on 20 February 2026. The Army Commander was received by Major General E.N. Kulakurasuriya, the Commandant of the Institute, and accorded military honors upon arrival.

Certificates were presented to participants of *Tamil Language Course No. 107*, *English Language Course No. 20*, and *French Language Course No. 17*. The Joint Services Language Training Institute plays a crucial role in enhancing the linguistic capabilities of military personnel across multiple languages.
