A notable initiative announced during the event involves collaborating with the Karnataka Tulu Sahitya Academy to create visual representations highlighting Tulu language and culture at Mangaluru International Airport. This project aims to introduce visitors and travelers to Tulunadu's heritage.
The event also honored senior photographer Yajna for his significant documentation of old Mangaluru through black-and-white photography.
