Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Limited (MRPL) recently organized a National Hindi Seminar focused on the theme *Evolving Journey of Official Language with Harmony and Inclusion* at its Recreation Centre in Mangaluru.
The event featured prominent officials including Shri Kumar Pal Sharma from the Department of Official Language and Dr. Dheeraj Kumar Mishra from NERBFID, highlighting the importance of collaborative efforts in promoting Hindi.
Presiding officer Shri Krishna Hegde Miyar emphasized that Hindi serves as a vital link language amid India's diverse linguistic landscape. He noted that true progress in official language implementation requires going beyond mere usage to embrace inclusivity across all regions and communities.
The seminar attracted approximately 200 participants from public sector undertakings, central government offices, and academic institutions across the Mangaluru region, demonstrating significant interest in Hindi's role as a unifying force while respecting India's multilingual identity.
Through five informative sessions, the event successfully explored ways to advance Hindi while maintaining harmony with India's rich cultural and linguistic diversity.
