The Language Department, Ferozepur, along with Dev Samaj College of Education, organised a seminar titled *Mother Tongue Punjabi Teaching in AI Era* to discuss the impact of Artificial Intelligence on language education.

District Language Officer Dr. Jagdeep Singh Sandhu noted that AI was reshaping nearly every field, including teaching, and stressed the teacher's central role in nurturing language, personality and social interaction among students.

Keynote speaker Sukhjinder, a poet and translator, spoke on the philosophical significance of language, arguing that teachers with strong vocabulary and ideas could communicate more effectively. He emphasised that dialogue through the mother tongue produced deeper, more meaningful learning outcomes.

Principal Dr. Rajwinder Kaur said technology could never replace a teacher's emotional and human understanding of students. Writer Er. Gurdial Singh Virk added that while all languages should be learnt, self-expression is best realised through one's mother tongue.

The event also featured a book exhibition organised by the District Language Office, with several academics and students in attendance.
