The Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences (CCRAS) has signed an MoU with Anuvadini AI to translate Ayurveda research into 13 regional languages. Anuvadini AI, developed by AICTE under the Ministry of Education, will translate CCRAS's research outputs and educational materials, including the *CCRAS Bulletin*, currently published primarily in English.
The collaboration aims to make evidence-based Ayurveda knowledge accessible across linguistic barriers and reduce misinformation. CCRAS operates 30 institutes across 25 states and publishes scientific research in Ayurveda sciences. Through AI-powered translation, the platform will ensure that research benefits reach citizens in their respective languages.
The initiative may later extend to foreign languages, starting with countries where the Ministry of Ayush has established Ayush Chairs. Director General Prof. Rabinarayan Acharya emphasized the commitment to making research outcomes accessible beyond the academic community, while Anuvadini AI CEO Dr. Buddha Chandrasekhar highlighted the role of technology in creating equitable access to knowledge.
