The upcoming Children's World Telugu Mahasabhas in Ongole represents a significant effort to preserve and promote Telugu language and cultural heritage among younger generations. Scheduled for December 5-6 at Next Gen School, the event is expected to draw participation from children across more than 50 countries.
Health Minister Satya Kumar, who unveiled the official logo, emphasized that Telugu is not merely a communication medium but a vital "symbol of cultural identity and heritage." He highlighted Chief Minister Naidu's policy of issuing government orders in Telugu as part of broader language preservation efforts.
Organized by the Andhra Saraswatha Parishad under Ghazal Srinivas, the event targets children under 16 years of age. The organizers are working to secure attendance from high-profile dignitaries including the President of India and the Chief Ministers of both Telugu states.
District officials have pledged complete support for the event, recognizing its importance in connecting Telugu-speaking communities worldwide and transferring linguistic heritage to future generations.
