Devnagri AI has launched Speech AI, a new capability that brings multilingual voice interactions to enterprise systems across India. The platform introduces two core technologies: Conversational Speech Layer (ASR) for automatic speech recognition and Enterprise Voice Generation (TTS) for text-to-speech conversion.
Supporting over 15 major Indian languages, Speech AI addresses the growing disconnect between English-optimized digital platforms and the majority of Indian internet users who prefer regional languages. The system captures linguistic nuances including accent, rhythm, tone, and contextual intent to deliver natural voice interactions.
The capability enables voice-powered workflows for multilingual contact centers, voice-based KYC processes, collections automation in financial services, and government citizen helplines. Unlike standalone voice APIs, Speech AI integrates directly into enterprise applications such as CRMs, contact center platforms, and mobile applications.
Co-founder Nakul Kundra emphasized that voice will define the next phase of digital access in India, with Speech AI extending the company's language infrastructure to help organizations build inclusive, enterprise-ready multilingual experiences. Devnagri AI serves clients across BFSI, digital platforms, government, and D2C sectors.
