Hindi Implementation Committee Holds Review in Kandla

The Municipal Official Language Implementation Committee (Narakas) of Kandla-Gandhidham convened its biannual review meeting under the chairmanship of Sushil Kumar Singh, IRSME Chairman of Deendayal Port Authority. The meeting brought together approximately 70 officers and employees representing 43 member offices.

A significant highlight was the recognition of Narakas Kandla-Gandhidham with an incentive award from the Official Language Department. Member offices received Official Language Shields acknowledging their outstanding work in implementing Hindi during 2025-26.

Chairman Singh emphasized the importance of achieving official language goals and expanding Hindi usage in government work. The meeting facilitated productive discussions on promoting effective and accessible Hindi implementation across all member offices. The initiative reflects ongoing efforts to strengthen Hindi as the official language in administrative and official communications at the port authority and associated offices.
