RADA 2026, billed as Maharashtra's first Marathi pop culture festival, will debut in Pune on March 28-29 at The Orchid Hotel. Organized by BhaDiPa (Bharatiya Digital Party), the two-day event expects to draw around 6,000 attendees celebrating Marathi internet culture.
The festival addresses a gap in the Marathi digital landscape. While Marathi performers have filled clubs across India and internationally, and digital creators from Maharashtra have built audiences far beyond the state, no dedicated festival has existed for this movement. RADA brings the online world offline, mixing performances, live conversations, and panels.
The lineup features prominent names including Prajakta Koli (MostlySane), who recently made her Marathi film debut with "Krantijyoti Vidhyahal Marathi Madhyam", comedy creator Neel Salekar, viral composer Yashraj Mukhate, and folk singer Nagesh Morvekar. The festival also highlights the rise of Marathi hip-hop with performers like Shreyas X Vedang, rapper Srushti Tawade, and producer Year Down.
Organizers describe RADA as a celebration of, for, and by Marathi youth, designed to provide visibility for emerging talent alongside established creators.
